Starrett HDV300 / 400 Shadowgraph
Profile projector with digital video camera and seven interchangeable telecentric lenses
The HDV300 and HDV400 combine the best features of a horizontal optical comparator and a vision metrology system. It is built with a workstage load capacity of 50kg and depending on the model a stage travel of 300mm x 150mm or 400mm x 150mm. For a larger video-based profile projector, the HDV500 is also available.
Configured like a traditional profile projector, the HDV (Horizontal Digital Video) comparators have the same field-proven workstage and boast a uniquely patented interchangeable lens mounting system allowing use of up to seven telecentric lenses that have micron-level resolution. Ultra-low optical distortion field of view measurements are also achieved with both the HDV300 and HDV400.
With a uniquely mounted 5-megapixel digital video camera and using the MetLogix M3 software, DXF CAD files can be imported for direct comparison to the part video image. Both the HDV300 and HDV400 are a prime example of Starrett engineering, ensuring industrial metrology equipment is of the highest quality.
