Agility, with a clear purpose, has always been the theme during our journey to date. We always wish to inspire and challenge our customers, allowing exploration of solutions outside the standard legacy expectation. We enjoy what we do and strive to pioneer and innovate. The first organisation to gain UKAS accreditation for ISO10360-7 (CMM with Optical probe fitted) and more recently Optical shaft instruments, evidences knowledge and capability in Optical Metrology.
Our drive has always been to improve the general understanding of Optical Metrology, when applied to industrial applications. This internal metrology knowledge is a great enabler, when discussing day to day calibrations, or questions posed by customers pushing the boundaries of precision engineering.
I always believed Optical Metrology would shine its light over more traditional, legacy measurement technologies, the clear advantages of data density, contactless operation, speed and resolution, have been evident for many years. Current PC architecture is now allowing the world to exploit that advantage, the future is bright indeed.

Our Story
Born in 2002 in the city of York as a calibration organisation, we identified a gap in the market for independent, credible and cost effective calibration services, primarily to the precision manufacturing sector, across the UK. Incorporation and relocation to Northampton in 2005 followed, providing enhanced access to our large Midlands based, Aerospace, Automotive and Autosport customers. Growth then provided the opportunity for a further move in 2017, to our current purpose-built premises in Market Harborough. Our UKAS laboratory, Customer Application Suite, Engineering team, Admin and Technical sales team, all now operate from this location, with regional sales and support technicians spread around the country. The organisation now provides both UKAS Calibration and all types of inspection and metrology products, with a bias towards optical methods. We are proud to represent a number of major Global Inspection Equipment Suppliers from around the world.
Advancing Measurement Techniques
We became accredited, under UKAS 17025, for the Calibration of profile projectors and microscopes in 2014. In addition, we were the first UK company to gain accreditation to the ISO10360-7 standard, providing traceability for manual and automated video based measuring systems. More recently, Optical Shaft Measuring is another first for our industry. You can rest assured your instrumentation will be calibrated to a consistently high standard by UKAS approved operatives at a competitive price.

With a strong commitment to inspection and metrology advancements, we are constantly working to reduce measurement uncertainties through accreditation. The equipment technologies we offer enhance production metrology capabilities, and next generation AI driven products, are taking efficiency and productivity to new levels.
