We are looking for a dynamic and proactive Technical Sales Manager to look after existing accounts and win new business everywhere West of a line from Southampton to Leeds. You’ll be on the road, visiting customers, giving demonstrations and closing deals. You’ll be on the phone too, talking to customers and prospects, and you’ll be well supported by our sales, marketing and applications teams. We sell solutions and we love a challenge; we pride ourselves that whatever our customer’s measurement or inspection problem, we have the answer. But where their requirements are particularly complex, an applications engineer will work alongside the sales manager to identify the best approach. They will do any programming and development work, test the solutions against customers parts, demonstrate it to the customer and if accepted, install the system and train the customer’s staff. We are looking for someone with engineering and IT aptitude and the potential to deliver high level technical expertise, to train alongside our senior applications engineer.
