The Starrett HD400 is a horizontal shadowgraph with a greater X-axis measuring travel than the rest of the Starrett bench-top profile projector range. Built to the same high mechanical standard as expected by Starrett, the HD400 is the ideal solution for inspecting components with automotive and aerospace industries.
The Starrett HD400 dual lens optical comparator benefits from a two-lens mount allowing instant switching between two magnifications and dual mirror design for a vertically correct image.
Further enhance this bench-top profile projector with automatic edge detection or video edge detection to help reduce the subjectivity of the operator, ensuring greater precision during inspection. The bayonet style lens mounting system also allows for six different interchangeable lenses to be used and by fitting an OV2 optical video adapter, users can turn this Starrett HD400 into a low-cost video measuring machine with immediate access to video and optical measurements.
