Bodywork, Paints and Coatings
The vehicle’s shell and the quality of the paints and coatings applied define its feel, whilst the durability of those coatings ensure the longevity of the vehicle. Our inspection instruments provide a detailed view of spot welds and through examining cut and fold lines, can highlight die wear or damage. Roughness measuring or surface profiling tools can assess the substrate (perhaps after etching or grinding), base layers and topcoats to assess the quality and durability of the finish. Our measuring instruments will ensure that attachments will fit their mounting points, and all measurements can be captured for production records and where SPC is used.
